    The security deposit decides what you can fill

    The amount is not a formality; it gates which seats you may choose during choice filling, for MBBS and BDS alike.

    • Rs. 50,000 for UR/EWS, SC/ST/ST-STA/OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL candidates opting for a government MBBS seat in government, government society, RUHS-CMS and ESIC colleges
    • Rs. 2,00,000 for a management MBBS seat in government society colleges and RUHS-CMS
    • Rs. 5,00,000 for an NRI MBBS seat in government, government society and RUHS-CMS colleges
    • Rs. 5,00,000 for MBBS in private medical colleges
    • Rs. 10,000 for BDS in the government dental college, RUHS-CDS and private dental colleges

    Candidates depositing Rs. 2,00,000 or Rs. 5,00,000 are automatically eligible to fill the lower-deposit options as well. Deposit only the lowest amount and the higher-tier seats simply will not be available to you when the choice window opens, whatever your rank.

    The change follows the Medical Counselling Committee revising the All India Quota and state counselling schedule on 19 August 2026. Most states are re-issuing their round 1 dates as a result, so check your own state even if you are not applying here.

  • Rajasthan publishes NEET UG 2026-27 fee structure for MBBS and BDS

    The Rajasthan NEET UG counselling board has published college information sheets for the 2026 MBBS and BDS allotments: one page for every college in state counselling, 51 medical and 17 dental.
