Maharashtra reopens NEET UG 2026 registration for 24 hours from 20 August

The State CET Cell has issued Notice No. 10 revising the CAP schedule for MBBS and BDS admission, after the Medical Counselling Committee extended All India Quota counselling on 19 August. Registration reopens for a single 24-hour window.

The grievance window closes before registration opens. If your name is on the provisional merit list of 18 August and something on it is wrong, you have until 5 pm on 20 August. The notice is explicit that these candidates “will not be given opportunity to raise grievance at a later stage”.

Registration is not complete until the fee is paid. The notice states a candidate is treated as registered “only after successful payment of the fees”. Registering at 7.55 pm on 21 August and paying later does not count, though the payment window does run two hours longer than the registration window for those who registered earlier and did not pay.
