The Medical Counselling Committee has released the provisional result for round 1 of NEET UG 2026 All India Quota counselling. The allotment list runs to more than 1,200 pages and covers every AIQ, deemed, central university and special quota seat.
The deadline is tight
Any discrepancy in the result must be brought to the MCC’s notice by 3.59 pm on 21 August 2026, through the “Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System” on the candidate login portal. That is the only channel named in the notice.
Three things the notice is explicit about
The result is indicative and subject to change. MCC states plainly that candidates cannot claim any right over the seat shown in the provisional result.
It cannot be challenged in court. The notice says the provisional result “cannot be challenged before the Court of Law”. The grievance window is the remedy.
Do not go to the college yet. Candidates are advised to approach the allotted college or institute only after the final result is declared. Turning up on a provisional allotment is how people end up travelling for a seat that changes.
Why so many quotas appear in the list
The allotment covers a wide set of quota codes in one document, including the Aligarh Muslim University internal and self-finance quotas, Delhi University and IP University quotas, the Jamia internal quota, Muslim and Jain minority quotas, ESI, the foreign country quota, Puducherry UT internal, NRI, and the Delhi NCR children and widows of armed forces personnel category.
