Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has released the schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions in Punjab for the 2026 session. Online applications open on 5 August 2026 and close on 10 August 2026.
Important dates
- Prospectus and online application form open: 5 August 2026.
- Last date to submit the online application: 10 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
- Last date to correct the form (locked after this): 11 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
- Provisional merit list: 13 August 2026.
- Objections to the merit list (in person only): 14 August 2026.
- Revised merit list: 15 August 2026.
- Round 1 online choice filling: 16 to 19 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
- Provisional seat allotment result: 22 August 2026.
- Reporting to colleges (documents, medical, six months’ fee): 25 to 28 August 2026.
Application fee
- General and other categories: ₹5,900 (₹5,000 + 18% GST).
- Scheduled Caste (SC): ₹2,950 (₹2,500 + 18% GST).
- Pay online through the University payment gateway by 11 August 2026, up to 3:00 PM.
Special cases
- Sports category: submit two printed copies of the form with the Sports Gradation Certificate from the Director, Sports, Punjab, in person at the Admission Branch, BFUHS Faridkot, by 11 August 2026.
- Minority quota: Christian minority candidates are verified at CMC Ludhiana and Sikh minority candidates at Sri Guru Ram Das Institute, Amritsar, both on 12 August 2026. Only verified candidates can pick minority quota seats.
- NRI quota: submit the physical application form by 12 August 2026, up to 4:00 PM.
- Objections to the merit list and to seat allotment are accepted only in person at BFUHS Faridkot, not by email.

What to do now
- Open www.bfuhs.ac.in from 5 August, read the prospectus and apply before 10 August.
- Pay the application fee online before 11 August, 3:00 PM.
- Sports, minority and NRI candidates: finish the extra in-person step by 12 August.
