Madhya Pradesh has opened Round 1 of its State combined NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS and BDS seats. Online registration runs from 5 August to 13 August 2026 (up to 11:59 PM) on the official portal, dme.mponline.gov.in.
Round 1 schedule
- Online registration (qualified NEET UG 2026 candidates): 5 to 13 August 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
- Publication of vacancies: 11 August 2026.
- Objections against vacancies: 12 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
- Final vacancies published: 13 August 2026.
- State merit list of registered candidates: 14 August 2026.
- Choice filling and locking (MP domicile candidates): 15 to 18 August 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
- Round 1 allotment result: 20 August 2026.
- Reporting and admission at the allotted college, in person: 21 to 27 August 2026, up to 6:00 PM.
- Online resignation or cancellation at college level: 21 to 27 August 2026, up to 7:00 PM.
- Upgradation option for Round 2: 21 to 27 August 2026, up to 11:55 PM.
Upgradation option is mandatory
At the time of admission every candidate must choose the upgradation option (YES or NO). The admission slip is generated only after you choose it. You can edit the option in your candidate login until 27 August 2026, 11:55 PM.
The Commissioner of Medical Education has also published the admission rules with all amendments, the registration process notice and the PwBD (disability) guidelines on medicaleducation.mp.gov.in.

What to do now
- Register on dme.mponline.gov.in before 13 August 2026, 11:59 PM.
- Keep your NEET UG 2026 scorecard, domicile and category documents ready.
- Watch the vacancy list (11 August) and the state merit list (14 August), then fill and lock choices during 15 to 18 August.
- At admission, choose your upgradation option (YES or NO); you can edit it until 27 August, 11:55 PM.
