Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, has released the rank-wise list of NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates from Telangana. In all, 38,021 students from the state have qualified and are eligible to apply for MBBS and BDS admissions in Telangana for the academic year 2026-27. The data comes from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India.
One point matters before anything else: this is only an information list, not the merit list. KNRUHS has said so clearly. It tells you who has qualified. It does not decide who gets a seat. The registration for admissions will be a separate step, announced later.
What the list shows
The document lists each qualified candidate’s NEET roll number, NEET rank, name, category, gender and NEET score. The top rank holder from Telangana has an all-India NEET rank of 13 with a score of 705. The lowest score on the list is 177, which is the qualifying floor for this year.

Cut-off scores to be eligible
These are the NEET UG 2026 eligibility cut-offs, as per the National Testing Agency press release dated 16 July 2026:
- UR / EWS: 50th percentile, score 715 to 213
- OBC: 40th percentile, score 212 to 177
- SC: 40th percentile, score 212 to 177
- ST: 40th percentile, score 212 to 177
- UR / EWS with PwD: 45th percentile, score 212 to 194
- OBC / SC / ST with PwD: 40th percentile, score 193 (or 191 for ST) to 177
If your score falls in your category band above, your name should be on this list. You can compare where your rank stands against last year’s Telangana MBBS closing ranks and BDS closing ranks to get a realistic sense of the colleges within reach.
Why this is not the merit list yet
Being on the qualified list is step one. The seat allotment merit list comes after you apply and your documents are checked. Here is the order KNRUHS follows:
- KNRUHS issues a separate notification inviting candidates to register online for MBBS/BDS admissions.
- You apply online and upload your certificates.
- After certificate verification, a provisional merit list is displayed.
- Grievances, if any, are heard, and then the final merit list is published on the university website.
Your category eligibility (BC, SC, ST or minority) will only be confirmed after you submit a valid caste, community or minority certificate and the concerned welfare department verifies it. Special categories such as NCC, CAP, PMC, PwD, SCCL (for MBBS only) and Anglo-Indian (for BDS only) have their own provisional lists, again subject to the required certificates.
What to do now
- Check your name and details on the KNRUHS qualified list, and confirm your rank, category and score are correct.
- Keep your documents ready now: NEET scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, caste/EWS certificate, local status and study certificates, and the relevant special-category proof if any.
- Watch the KNRUHS website for the admission registration notification. Registration is a separate step from qualifying, and it has its own deadline.
