The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the Round 1 schedule for NEET UG 2026 All India Quota counselling. In Notice No. 08 dated 13 August 2026, MCC has given candidates more time: registration and fee payment for Round 1 now stay open until 2:00 PM on 15 August 2026, and choice filling continues till 17 August 2026.
This schedule covers the 15% All India Quota seats and the 100% seats in deemed and central universities, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER, for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses.
Revised Round 1 schedule
- Registration and payment: 5 August to 15 August 2026, up to 2:00 PM on 15 August (the payment facility stays open till 5:00 PM on 15 August), as per server time.
- Choice filling: 6 August to 17 August 2026, up to 6:00 PM on 17 August. Choice locking runs from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on 17 August.
- Processing of seat allotment: 18 August 2026.
- Round 1 result: 19 August 2026.
- Reporting and joining at the allotted college: 20 to 25 August 2026.
What to do now
- If you have not registered, finish your registration and fee payment before 2:00 PM on 15 August. Leaving it to the last hour is risky.
- Fill and lock your choices by 6:00 PM on 17 August. Order them carefully, best college first.
