The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has published the Round 1 seat matrix for NEET UG 2026 state-quota MBBS admissions. It lists the seats in each college, split across the All India Quota, the state quota and the reserved categories. DME has now marked this as the final Round 1 seat matrix (13 August 2026); the college-wise seat counts are unchanged from the provisional version.
What the seat matrix shows
- College-wise total seats, with the 15% All India Quota, GOI/insured-person quota and the remaining state-quota seats.
- The state-quota seats are further split into PwD, defence (Sainik), freedom-fighter, government-school and open categories.
- Government colleges include Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal (250), Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior (250), M.G.M. Medical College, Indore (250) and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur (250), along with the newer government colleges and private colleges.
