The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released the Round 1 schedule for NEET UG 2026 state-quota, private management-quota and NRI-quota MBBS/BDS seats. Online registration runs from 13 to 16 August 2026.
Round 1 schedule
- Online registration: 13 August (11:00 AM) to 16 August 2026 (6:00 PM); fee payment till midnight of 16 August.
- Publication of verified candidates and Round 1 seat matrix: 19 August (after 12:00 noon).
- Choice filling and locking: 19 August (4:00 PM) to 21 August (4:00 PM).
- Round 1 allotment result: 25 August 2026 (after 4:00 PM).
- Reporting and admission at the allotted institute: 26 to 28 August 2026.
- Online seat surrender at the allotted college: 3 September 2026.

What to do now
- Register and pay the fee on the WBMCC applicant portal between 13 and 16 August. Follow the user manual step by step.
- Keep your domicile, category, income (EWS) and medical certificates ready in the WBMCC format.
- Fill and lock your choices during 19 to 21 August.
