  • Odisha NEET UG 2026 counselling: register Aug 6-10

    The Odisha JEE (OJEE) has released the tentative counselling schedule for NEET UG 2026 candidates seeking MBBS and BDS seats under the Odisha state quota (session 2026-27). Round 1 registration opens on 6 August 2026 (5:00 PM) and closes on 10 August 2026 (11:59 PM).

    Who can apply: only Odisha state natives are eligible for the state-quota MBBS and BDS seats. Candidates from other states are eligible for NRI-quota seats only, so check your eligibility before you register.

    Round 1 schedule

    • Registration, online application and document upload: 6 August (5:00 PM) to 10 August 2026 (11:59 PM).
    • PWD/PC medical assessment board at SCB Medical College, Cuttack, and ES (ex-servicemen) board at Rajya Sainik Board, Bhubaneswar: 10 and 11 August 2026.
    • Data reconciliation and verification: 11 to 12 August 2026.
    • Provisional state merit list: 13 August 2026, 4:00 PM.
    • Final state merit list: 14 August 2026, 5:00 PM.
    • Choice filling: 14 August (8:30 PM) to 17 August 2026 (11:59 PM).

    How allotment works (from the counselling guidelines)

    • At registration you pay the fee (registration + security deposit) and choose Freeze or Float for your allotted seat.
    • You must submit a properly prepared bond and deposit your original College/School Leaving Certificate at admission.
    • If you don’t confirm/join, the seat is treated as vacant and you re-do fresh choice filling for the next round; counselling runs three rounds, with upgradation/sliding after Round 3 if seats remain.
    • Giving false information or a wrong certificate leads to cancellation, disciplinary/legal action, and a financial penalty (set by the State Government); original documents are withheld until it is paid.

  • Andhra Pradesh MBBS, BDS 2026 application open; apply by Aug 12

    Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has opened the online application for Andhra Pradesh MBBS and BDS admissions 2026-27. Seats under the Competent Authority (state) quota are filled on your NEET UG 2026 merit. The application is live now.

    Application dates

    • Apply without late fee: 5 August 2026 (5:00 PM) to 12 August 2026 (9:00 PM).
    • Apply with late fee: 13 August 2026 (7:00 AM) to 14 August 2026 (1:00 PM).
    • Apply on the official portal: apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in.
    • No registration is allowed after the late-fee window closes, so do not wait for the last day.

    How it works

    • Register online, pay the fee, and upload your documents for verification.
    • Admission is on NEET UG 2026 merit, subject to eligibility and certificate verification.
    • Web options (choice filling) and seat allotment come after the application stage. NTRUHS will publish those schedules on its website only, with no individual intimation.

  • MP NEET UG 2026: EWS reservation and fee scholarships

    Along with the MP NEET UG 2026 counselling, the Directorate of Medical Education has published the reservation rules and the scholarship schemes that can cut what you pay for an MBBS or BDS seat. Knowing your category and the scholarships you can claim before counselling saves money and avoids last-minute document trouble.

    EWS reservation

    Economically Weaker Section (EWS) is a reservation category for general-category candidates whose family meets the income and asset limits. To claim an EWS seat you need a valid EWS certificate in the prescribed format. Read the EWS guidelines (with amendments) for the exact eligibility and certificate rules.

    Scholarships that help with fees

    • Post-matric scholarships (SC, ST, OBC): government scholarships that help eligible SC, ST and OBC students with course fees and maintenance during higher studies. Eligibility is linked to your family income; each scheme has its own rules (linked below).
    • Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY): pays tuition fees for meritorious Madhya Pradesh students in professional courses, including MBBS, subject to the Class 12 marks and family-income limits in the order.
    • Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Shiksha Protsahan) Yojana (MMJKY): a Madhya Pradesh education-support scheme; check the rules for who is covered and how to apply.

    Amended proforma

    The Directorate has amended Proforma No. 7 and No. 9 used in the counselling. If you need either, use the amended version (linked below).

  • Arunachal TRIHMS MBBS 2026 prospectus out; 100 seats

    The Directorate of Medical Education, Training and Research, Arunachal Pradesh has released the prospectus for MBBS admission to the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS), Naharlagun for the 2026-27 session. Admission is based on your NEET UG 2026 marks.

    Seats and quota

    • TRIHMS has 100 MBBS seats for 2026-27.
    • 15% of seats go to the All India Quota (AIQ), filled through MCC counselling.
    • 85% are State Quota seats for Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) candidates, including 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) within APST.
    • All admission is on merit in NEET UG 2026.

    Fees and how to apply

    • The prospectus costs ₹500. The application fee is ₹500 for APST and ₹750 for AIQ, paid by Demand Draft.
    • Submit the completed application to the Director of Medical Education, A-Sector, Naharlagun, along with the Demand Draft, before the last date given in the prospectus.
    • Keep your NEET UG 2026 scorecard, NEET admit card and ten passport photos (same photo as used for NEET) ready.
    • The merit/rank list will be published only on the official websites of the Department of Higher and Technical Education and the Directorate of Medical Education.

  • Maharashtra NEET UG 2026: CAP starts soon, keep documents ready

    The Maharashtra State CET Cell has told NEET UG 2026 candidates to keep all their documents ready. In Notice No. 02, dated 4 August 2026, it said the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for health-science undergraduate courses (MBBS, BDS and others) for 2026-27 will begin shortly.

    Admission to Government, Government-aided, unaided and minority colleges in Maharashtra is done through CAP by the CET Cell, based on your NEET UG 2026 merit. During registration it is mandatory to upload the certificates that support every claim you make, so get them from the competent authority in advance.

    Documents to keep ready

    • NEET UG 2026 admit card and score card.
    • SSC (Class 10 or equivalent) passing certificate.
    • HSC (Class 12 or equivalent) marksheet.
    • Nationality certificate and domicile certificate.
    • Medical fitness certificate (as per the information brochure annexure).
    • Leaving or transfer certificate.
    • Caste certificate, caste validity certificate and non-creamy-layer certificate (for SC, ST, VJ/DT-NT, SEBC, OBC, SBC as applicable).
    • EWS certificate in the Maharashtra State format only — the Central Government format is not accepted.
    • Orphan certificate (from the Women and Child Welfare Department), if applicable.
    • Person with Benchmark Disability certificate from an MCC-authorised medical board, if applicable.
    • Defence certificate and hilly-area (Dongari) certificate, if you claim those quotas.

    Two points that trip candidates up: the EWS certificate must be in the Maharashtra format, and the disability certificate must come from the medical board notified by MCC. The CET Cell has issued separate PwBD admission guidelines (linked below).

  • Punjab MBBS, BDS 2026 application open; apply by Aug 10

    Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has opened the Round 1 application for Punjab MBBS and BDS admissions 2026. The online application is live from 5 August and closes on 10 August 2026 (5:00 PM). The application link is now active.

    • Online application: 5 to 10 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
    • Correction in the submitted form: 5 to 11 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
    • Application fee: ₹5,900 for General and other categories, ₹2,950 for SC (both include 18% GST). Pay online by 11 August, 3:00 PM.
    • Apply on the official portal: admission.bfuhsonline.ac.in.

    Special categories (extra steps)

    • NRI quota: submit the physical application form from 5 to 12 August 2026, up to 4:00 PM.
    • Christian minority quota: eligibility verification at CMC, Ludhiana, from 5 to 12 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
    • Sikh minority quota: eligibility verification at Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Amritsar, from 5 to 12 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
    • Sports category: submit two printed application forms, the Sports Gradation Certificate and self-attested documents in person at BFUHS, Faridkot, from 5 to 11 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.

  • MP NEET UG 2026 counselling: how to register, step by step

    Round 1 registration for the Madhya Pradesh State combined NEET UG 2026 counselling (MBBS and BDS) is open. It runs from 5 August to 13 August 2026 (up to 11:59 PM) on the official portal, dme.mponline.gov.in. This guide explains how to register, what to keep ready, and links every official document.

    How to register (step by step)

    1. Open dme.mponline.gov.in and go to the MP NEET UG 2026 counselling registration.
    2. Create your profile and log in using your NEET UG 2026 roll number and application number.
    3. Fill your personal, academic and category details exactly as they appear on your documents.
    4. Upload the scanned documents the portal asks for.
    5. Pay the registration fee if the portal asks for it, and submit the form.
    6. Note your registration number and save a copy. Finish before 13 August, 11:59 PM.

  • Karnataka NEET UG 2026 merit list out; enrol with KEA now

    The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka NEET UG 2026 state merit list. It lists over 69,000 candidates who chose Karnataka in their NEET application, ranked by all-India NEET rank, and is available on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

    What the list shows

    • Each candidate’s serial number, NEET roll number, all-India rank and NEET (NBE) score.
    • The list is compiled as received from the NTA and covers everyone who picked Karnataka as their state in the NEET application.
    • Being on the list is not admission. Eligible candidates must separately enrol with KEA.

    You must enrol with KEA

    • Appearing in the merit list does not book a seat. To be considered for MBBS, BDS or AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy) seats, you must register with KEA.
    • Enrolment uses your NEET roll number on the KEA portal (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in).
    • KEA will publish the information bulletin and document-verification details shortly. Read the UGCET-2026 / UGNEET-2026 information bulletin for eligibility and reservation rules.

    Document and special-category dates

    For newly registered candidates, at KEA, Bengaluru:

    • Special-category certificate submission (NCC, Sports, Defence, Ex-Defence, Scouts & Guides, CAPF): 5 to 8 August 2026, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
    • PWD medical examination: 5 August 2026, report at 9:30 am. Bring your BDA and audiology reports. Candidates already examined need not appear again.
    • Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu candidates: 5 August 2026, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Candidates who took the CET Kannada exam on 22 April or 23 May 2026 need not appear again.

    Madhya Pradesh has opened Round 1 of its State combined NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS and BDS seats. Online registration runs from 5 August to 13 August 2026 (up to 11:59 PM) on the official portal, dme.mponline.gov.in.

    • Online registration (qualified NEET UG 2026 candidates): 5 to 13 August 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
    • Publication of vacancies: 11 August 2026.
    • Objections against vacancies: 12 August 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
    • Final vacancies published: 13 August 2026.
    • State merit list of registered candidates: 14 August 2026.
    • Choice filling and locking (MP domicile candidates): 15 to 18 August 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
    • Round 1 allotment result: 20 August 2026.
    • Reporting and admission at the allotted college, in person: 21 to 27 August 2026, up to 6:00 PM.
    • Online resignation or cancellation at college level: 21 to 27 August 2026, up to 7:00 PM.
    • Upgradation option for Round 2: 21 to 27 August 2026, up to 11:55 PM.

    Upgradation option is mandatory

    At the time of admission every candidate must choose the upgradation option (YES or NO). The admission slip is generated only after you choose it. You can edit the option in your candidate login until 27 August 2026, 11:55 PM.
